Your role

  • The Project Lead will use innovative and creative approaches to problem solving, updating, installing and supporting technologies that are organizationwide and that impact media content. The Project Lead will manage the endtoend project implementation from proposal and procurement to design, implementation, testing and handover. The incumbent will work on various projects within the component, at different levels with multiple priorities, while never losing sight of the details.
  • The Project Lead will have strong analytical skills, with an innate ability to think through complex issues and design innovative solutions, as well as digging further into issues, removing roadblocks and presenting solutions for immediate and long term. The incumbent will build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, effectively translating and communicating technical requirements and non technical business needs to a diverse group. The Project Lead will adapt to new tools and technologies quickly, while staying up to date with industry best practices.

As our new Project Lead, you will:

  • Design detailed, innovative, practical solutions to complex problems, particularly where new technologies are to be incorporated into existing facilities with emphasis on workflows.-
  • Design high-caliber solutions (dashboarding, reporting, etc.), used to deliver a user experience.-
  • Create and track the schedules and budgets for projects; monitoring progress to ensure compliance with scope and objectives.-
  • Work in collaboration with senior leaders to oversee the procurement from writing and requesting quotes and proposals to evaluating tender responses and making recommendations.-
  • Verify system performance against design criteria, ensuring identified deficiencies are corrected and providing documentation for ongoing operation and maintenance of facilities.-
  • Create concept designs for review with our business partners.-
  • Conceptualize alternative solutions which satisfy defined objectives.-
  • Regularly meet with stakeholders to determine requirements and solutions.-
  • Verify system performance and ensure that identified deficiencies are rectified.-
  • Develop and maintain specialized reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data from various systems.-
  • Research, develop, modify, and deploy data-collection processes.-
  • Select and implement the best strategy for securing data access, Perform data aggregation and ensure data QA.-
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in detailed system design and integration and deploying new technologies across an organization, including hands-on expertise with digital ad serving, data integration and visualizations, programmatic, order management systems (OMS) and ad tech.-
  • Experience in the hands on detailed design and implementation of workflows and systems for digital platforms as it relates to digital advertising.-
  • Knowledge of the following software and/or technologies: GAM, Triton, Dashboards such as PowerBI, Data Studio, etc.-
  • Experience with the Agile approach is preferred, however other hands-on experience in a project management role can be considered.-
  • Strong and influential verbal and written communication skills in English and French considered a strong asset.-
  • Strong analytical skills, with an innate ability to think through complex issues and design innovative solutions, as well as digging further into issues, removing roadblocks and presenting solutions for immediate and long term.-
