JOB SUMMARY

What you'll do:

  • Assist with data entry, and input training documentation
  • Set up, maintain, organize, and file relevant documents and files.
  • Digitize scan paper documents to electronic files
  • Update employee information
  • Assist in answering employee questions and concerns and participate in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and implement new programs and processes.
  • Update and maintain employee programs such as coveralls, birthdays, probation reviews etc.
  • Assist managers with ADP systems and reports.
  • Complete checklist items for employee status changes and updates as required.
  • Prepare new hire offer letters, notices, general employee memos, ect
  • Assist with new employee orientation sessions.
  • Coordinate recruitment support activities, including drafting job postings on internal and external recruitment sites, and screening resumes.
  • Assist in conducting phone interviews and first round with applicants.
  • Assist with general programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with the Temporary Foreign Worker program.
  • Other admin support as required

An effective JR. Admin.

must have the following:

  • Positive, outgoing personality
  • Some experience in a similar role would be an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • An ability to understand and adapt to the employment culture at Stubbe's
  • Very strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Applications
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently
