Job Summary
*NOTES
-- At least 6 months experience in Orthodontics is required
*SCHEDULE
- At least 2 Saturdays per month
- Possibility of 1 weekday
This position requires a significant ability to work in a team and at times independently. The ideal candidate is a bright problem-solver with a positive attitude and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. Must posses a team player attitude and have good people skills
Responsibilities:
Assessment of oral health
Document dental care services
Maintain patient charts/records
Give post-procedure care and Oral Hygiene Instructions: home care for appliances, brushing & flossing techniques etc.
Cleaning the examination room and returning the used trays to the sterilization bay
Understanding and working with Phase I appliances
Cement expansion appliances and lingual arches
Place and remove orthodontic brackets and bands
Bonding permanent wire retainers
Changing and ligating arch wires
Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances upon direction from the orthodontist
