Role overview


We are seeking a hardworking Network Service and Security Specialist to join our growing team in our Cloud, Infrastructure and Security Services Practice (CIS) at Cognizant Our strength is built on our ability to work together.

What you'll do

  • Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design and solution.
  • Strong knowledge, handson expertise with FortiGate Firewall, Forti-Manager, Forti-Analyzer, Forti-NAC, Zscalar ZIA, ZPA and ZDX, Data Loss
  • Mandatory
  • Prevention Solution, VMware carbon black, Microsoft Azure cloud with handson experience in creation of Conditional Policies, Network Security Groups, VNETs, Deployment of Fortinet firewalls in azure cloud, IAM, MCAS etc.
  • Expertise on Zscaler Secure Web Gateway Solution, Zscaler remote access VPN solution and Zscaler digital experience.
  • Expertise on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privilege Access Management (PAM), Governance and Access Control, Single Sign-On (SSO), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and entitlement repository management.
  • Strong Knowledge on Fortinet suite of Products like FortiGate, Forti-NAC, Forti-Manager and Forti-Analyzer.
  • Strong Knowledge on Azure, Network, and security.
  • Project Management in handling Network Security Tools Implementation / migration.
  • Expertise in ITSM, IM, PM, CHM, Capacity Management, Release, MIM.
  • Handson experience with Internet protocols, packet capture and analysis, SSH, TLS/SSL and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Strong Knowledge in Linux/ Unix command line
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols OSPF and BGP.
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches, and a good understanding of IP subnetting and routing such OSPF and BGP.

Top 3 Skills Required

  • Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design and solution.
  • Strong Knowledge on Azure, Network, and security.
  • Project Management in handling Network Security Tools Implementation / migration aligned with ITSM CHM and release management.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, Computer Science, Networking, or similar technical field
  • 15+ years of handson experience with network and security services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as organization and documentation skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while working in a highpressure incident situation.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgement, and ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with others.
  • Ability to analyze and understand a variety of existing and emerging business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams as a fully seasoned and proficient security solutions engineer, in providing best in class Firewall/IPS and web filtering solutions that align to meet customer requirements.
