Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada's largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.

Job Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting guests with product selection, completing sales and general retail operations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greeting the guest and attending to their needs
  • Building a loyal customer base
  • Learning proper POS procedures
  • Assisting the store team in achieving and surpassing store targets
  • Demonstrating initiative and works well with others
  • Assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock
  • Being aware of promotional offers throughout the store
  • Awareness of loss prevention
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Receiving stock accurately
  • Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
  • Awareness of sales targets
  • Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience
  • Superior written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • Ability to work under extreme deadlines and in a fast paced environment
Compensation and Benefits
- $18.00/hr
