Job Description:
We are hiring Pipefitters for a temporary project at our client site in Cold Lake, AB.
**_
The role is expected to start immediately, and end in early August. The rotation is 7 days on and 7 days off. There is camp available at site, and there are flights to/from Calgary or Edmonton available after the first rotation._**
What would you be doing?
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections, and related equipment and secure in position.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
Does this sound like you?
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
- Valid CSTS20, H2S Alive, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets.
- Enjoy a varied workload.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
Perks of the job
- The Journeyperson Pipefitter employee rate is $47.52, and the Journeyperson Pipefitter DSP rate is $57.6
- Benefits after 300 hours of work.
- 12 hour shifts and OT is paid out as per provinical standards.

- This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing._
