THE OPPORTUNITY Western Forest Products is currently hiring for
Production Labourers at our sites on
Vancouver Island,
BC We have multiple positions available at each location.

  • Value Added Division, Chemainus, BC
  • Saltair Sawmill Division, Ladysmith, BC
  • Ladysmith Sawmill Operation, Ladysmith, BC
  • Duke Point Sawmill, Nanaimo, BC

What We Offer:

  • Unionized wage rates ranging between
    $ $33.35**, depending on location;
  • Hourly premiums of
    $0.60/hour on shifts that are outside the recognized day shift;

Shifts:
Monday to Friday - a variety of day, afternoon and night shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • All employees will start in general labour or cleanup positions, and then progress from there into a variety of roles including machine operators.
  • All employees must maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Supporting other areas of the operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • It would be an asset to have previous experience in a safetysensitive environment (tradesrelated or an industrial environment), but not necessary.
