We are looking for a buyer, member of the maintenance and production store inventory management team and reporting to the non-stock buyer and coordinator for major technical services and projects.

In this role, your main mandate will be to support the maintenance and production stores.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Identify and seize opportunities to optimize component purchasing costs for maintenance and production.

Coordinate orders and shipments of subcontracted parts.

Analyze inventories to maintain them at optimal levels to avoid stock-outs or waste.

Negotiate prices and verify compliance.

Work closely with accounts payable to process invoices.

Participate in negotiating, updating and respecting agreements and contracts with strategic suppliers.


Participate in the selection of suppliers, develop and maintain a good business relationship with them and represent BRP with our suppliers in the United States and Mexico.

Handle complaints related to quality, quantity and lead times, and propose solutions.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A college diploma in administration, operations management or another related field.

12 months to 3 years experience.


The ability to communicate in a professional manner in English and French, the person will be in contact with US & Mexico suppliers.

Good organization and communication.

Enjoyment of teamwork and demonstrated leadership.

The ability to use Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of software such as SAP and Guide TI would be an asset.
