The Opportunity

Mawer Investment Management is looking for an experienced Client Operations Analyst to join this new team and coordinate critical administrative support. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent attention to detail and dedicated to delivering operational excellence.

This position will report to the Manager of Client Operations.

Role Responsibilities

Be part of a team responsible for managing and or supporting operational and client support administrative activities, such as but not limited to - onboarding, account set-up, client reporting, account transfers, document management, data management, client reimbursements and yearend tax Execute comprehensive day to day, seasonal and ad hoc operating processes with a focus on scale, efficiency, and strong internal controls Help improve and streamline the current operational procedures Identify and support the implementation of solutions and oversight to ensure there is timely execution, resolution of issues, and reduce risk in our overall client service model Support project initiatives and seasonal support for client-facing teams (year-end, campaigns, tax season, Return mail, etc.) Work collaboratively with operations and client-facing teams to enhance business practices to better serve our clients

Desired Qualifications

5+ years' Operational experience Strong background in operations, administration, and project management Collaborative mindset and strong relationship-management skills Hands-on, self-starter with strong interpersonal and team skills Risk management mindset, with a good understanding of internal controls High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize; experience managing expectations and delivery of services Working knowledge of individual investment account types (RRSP, TFSA, Taxable, Corporate, etc.) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Good understanding of investment management business and terminology Financial industry courses (CSC) (IFIC) would be an asset Experience using Client Relationship Management (e.g. Salesforce) software is an asset
