  • Booking appointments_
  • Welcoming and registering patients_
  • Pretesting patients (ie. Auto refractor, Tonometer etc)_
  • Answering phone calls with a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling specialist appointments
  • Insurance billing with Great West Life, Sun Life, Pacific Blue Cross etc.
  • Accurately entering prescriptions/measurements into the system
  • Assisting customers with selecting glasses (frames/lenses) best suited for their lifestyle
  • Adjusting eyewear for proper fit
  • Operating Point of Sale terminal, via cash, credit etc.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized office
  • Provide excellent customer service

*Support for the retail store manager in the training of newer associates in all aspects of service delivery as per the company guidelines.

*Consistently treats all customers and staff members with respect and contributes to a positive work environment.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Retail sales skills and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Empathy to be able to relate to all potential customers.
  • Able to follow directions and be a selfstarter.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business including evenings, holidays, weekends and callin shifts
  • Must be available a minimum of 2 shifts Monday through Friday and have weekend availability that meets the needs of the Store's business
  • Some understanding of products and services provided at Specsavers.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Reliable and Dependable.
