Position: Senior Cloud Services Manager

  • Lead the development of a technological framework and offer technical guidance to support Nutrien's ventures in cloud computing with an emphasis on designing services compatible with both on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and system/database engineers to grasp requirements and engage in design dialogues.
  • Show familiarity with cloud architecture and implementation features such as operating systems, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability.
  • Develop a repository of deployable and well-documented cloud design patterns, derived from Nutrien's application spectrum, as a foundation for deploying services to the cloud.
  • Stay abreast of prevailing industry trends, technologies, and more.
  • Construct solutions architecture and assess architectural options for private, public, and hybrid cloud models including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.

You should bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in technical architecture, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
  • Server administration skills for Windows/Linux platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of software/application development experience or expertise in Solution Architecture and Operations.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and other Cloud Platforms.

Skills in areas such as CICD, monitoring, security, scripting & languages, and certifications like AWS-Certified Solutions Architect are valued. Experience in Agile/Scrum development, DevSecOps, CI/CD processes, and continuous enhancement of Cloud offerings are crucial.
