Registered Physiotherapist – Orthopedics

Full-time position with potential for increased earnings as a percentage of revenue

Days Monday to Friday with potential for one to two afternoon shifts per week

Location: Waterloo

The Registered Physiotherapist will work within a modern healthcare facility alongside a team of Sports Medicine Physicians, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and Orthopaedic Surgeons in an environment that encourages daily collaboration among practitioners.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based physiotherapy practices and use appropriate outcome measures
  • Apply professional judgement and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Engage in effective communication with clients, team members, and others to ensure collaboration and service coordination
  • Deliver suitable treatment for patients based on assessment findings and feedback
  • Contribute to program development that promotes health and wellness for individuals, groups, and communities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered or pending registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Strong orthopedic skills with a background in strength and conditioning

Requirements:

  • Client-focused approach with the ability to multitask and make quick decisions
  • Demonstrated clinical and functional assessment skills related to musculoskeletal injuries and chronic health conditions
  • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
