As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for all sales related activities to support the performance of the Total Beverage Alcohol (TBA) Brands within the TOPIKOS portfolio.

This role will support a defined territory in the Alberta Market.

Deliver on quarterly and annual key performance indicators, to drive TOPIKOS' brand portfolio in retail & On-Premises outlets (primary retail).

Enhance the sales department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; Lead business development and in-store execution in the pursuit of being 'FIRST CHOICE' for customers.

Manage our portfolio of retail & OP outlets, relationships/accounts to achieve success; Execute sales initiatives and be a key contributor of high performance; service new and existing retail accounts, obtaining purchase orders; other trade factors.

perform regular retail & OP outlet visits to ensure customer satisfaction and product knowledge and training.

Using key sales principals, independently establish and execute account annual plans in pursuit of sales objectives and revenue generation; adjust content of sales presentations by studying type of sales outlet and/or trade factor.

Focus sales efforts by studying/understanding the existing and potential volume of retailers.

Act as the expert educator of company portfolio to increase the ability of product recommendations at the retail level in a socially responsible manner.

Monitor and analyze outlet sales of our product to anticipate and determine future retailer product needs.
Work closely with retail outlet decision-makers to ensure secure product placement and visibility.
Work closely with trade marketing to develop, implement, and measure winning customer solutions.
Perform weekly reconciliation of Promotional Activity Calendars and monthly compliance audits.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration, or equivalent

Two (2) to five (5) years direct selling experience for a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or beverage alcohol company including both account service and new account hunting and development; CPG and beverage alcohol experience in retail is preferred.

Industry-related training and certification, as required.
Strong understanding of financials, including trade spending and product profitability
Proven experience working with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Passion for the emerging TBA (Total Beverage Alcohol) industry and can harness that passion to build a business.
Formal sales training in retail selling fundamentals
Customer service training and direct-to-business customer experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
Strong data entry skills, with keyboard proficiency
Ability to prioritize and manage workload across multiple simultaneous tasks, in a fast-paced work environment, while ensuring delivery of high-quality work and meeting timelines
