Reporting to one of our Production Supervisors, our
Production Team Members are the heartbeat of our manufacturing facility. Working in one of our four main departments, Logistics, Pre-Assembly, Casting, or Finishing, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks as we take raw materials and turn them into our innovative building panels.
Using various power tools and equipment, from CNCs to gantry cranes, floor grinders to telehandlers, we work together to ensure that our panels are built to the highest quality and sustainability standards.
We pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to safety, and the continuous improvement of our people and processes is built-in to our working culture.
Nature of work
- Carry out correct and accurate measurements to ensure that the concrete like pre cast panels meet blue print specifications
- Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete like precast panels
- Level top surface of panels if needed according to specification
- Repair and resurface panels as needed
- Impart desired finish to panels surfaces using hand and power tools
What you'll need:
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to follow production procedures and formulas with accuracy to ensure the final product
- Ability to safely work in a physically challenging environment and contend with cold, heat, dust, noise, and water
- Demonstrated experience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Respect and adherence to all organizational and standard operating procedures, as well as health and safety guidelines
- The ability to perform quality inspections as necessary
- The ability to work effectively as a team member, to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Experience completing projects on schedule with clear timelines
- A desire to take training in areas identified as necessary for your position
- The ability to learn a variety of processes and the flexibility to help where needed
Bonus points for:
Certification in Forklift, Overhead Crane, WHMIS or Lockout Tagout.
