As a Summer Student you will work with us in the fight against Covid-19 as we flatten the curve.
You will work on Covid-19 related projects and other initiatives in collaboration with various departments and teams across the hospital and external partners.

Complex Continuing Care - Transitional Care Unit
This position is offered through the support of Government of Canada-Canada Summer Jobs Program. All applicants must might the minimum requirements of that program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support projects and initiatives throughout, including daily operations, planning, logistics, and communications.
- Support infection, prevention and control initiatives, including personal protective equipment distribution and inventory management
- Support the documentation of best practices to ensure sustainability
- Provide operational support to our staff, physician, and patient project work
- Assist with data modeling, analysis, evaluation and report writing
- Other administrative duties as assigned
- Other pandemicrelated duties as assigned
- High school diploma, required
- Enrollment in a relevant postsecondary program, required. Healthcare related or business field
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong demonstration of tact and diplomacy with a customer service focus
- Expectation of this role encompasses the need to maintain confidentiality with respect to all aspects of the work being performed
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and prioritize workload
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with information gathering and the ability to synthesize and summarize information
- Ability to prepare written reports and documents that are clear and concise
- Comfortable working within a team as a leader and/or team member and with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
