Promyse Home Care is looking for caring, competent and qualified Personal Support Worker(s) to provide support for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Shifts & Availability:
- Must be flexible / OK to work shorter shifts (13 hours)
- Preferably someone who can cover shorter morning and afternoon shifts. Overnights as well.
- Availability on Weekends is an advantage
- Willing to visit 13 clients a day / connecting shifts
- Willingness to travel to clients location (within and outside Waterloo Region)
Shift Schedules:
- MON, WED, THURS, SAT &
SUN:
10am -1pm
- Weekends: |9am 1pm | 4pm7p | 2pm 3pm| 2pm 4am (URGENT)
- Weekdays: | 6am
- 10am| 7am 10am | 4pm7p | 2pm 3pm | 2pm 4pm (URGENT)

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Care to clients (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Cook (Prepare meals based on the client care plan)
- Clean (Mop, Laundry, Clean Kitchen/Dishes)
- Home support
- Companionship
- Appointment accompaniment
Job Qualifications:
- Dedication and passion to work as a PSW is a PLUS
- Pleasing personality and compassionate
Must be living in Ontario Canada, preferably near in the following locations:
- Kitchener/Waterloo (
Cambridge and
Elmira - Willingness to serve clients throughout Waterloo Region.
Required: Must be a certified PSW / HCA or international nurse
- Must have a vehicle with license or a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, etc is preferred
- Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Current CPR Training (not expired)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray result
- COVID Vaccination (Completely vaccinated 2 doses)
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Personal cell phone with a mobile data plan.
- Willing to visit 13 clients locations/day
- Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience providing seniors or disabled adults with care
- Willing to start to work immediately (within 17 days)
