Production/Signage Installer

Description:

Successful Architectural Signage Company located in Port Kells, Surrey is currently seeking a full time Signage Production/Installer with a strong commitment to quality work.

We are a small team of energetic employees with quality and customer service at the core of everything we do.

We have been in business for over 25 years creating custom signage across the lower mainland.

Terms of Employment:
Full-Time

Position Responsibilities:

  • Working in a shop environment fabricating custom and unique architectural signage in several different mediums
  • Review installation/production layouts and architectural drawings prior to getting to the job site
  • Installing signage onsite when scheduled and required while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Measure and make guidelines used for installation
  • Load and unload supplies and equipment
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools

Skill/Requirements:

  • Experience working with metal, acrylic, vinyl graphics, dimensional letters and painting custom signage
  • Comfortable with the use of ladders
  • Professional presentation when meeting clients onsite
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team and members of our production team to ensure every install results in a satisfied client
  • Problem solve while thinking outside of the box
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record

Additional Skills:

  • Team player and be able to work with others as well as independently
  • Professionalism and strong customer service
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of Corel Draw and/or Illustrator is a plus
  • Knowledge of Onyx RIP software and/or able to operate wide format printer is a plus

Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Surrey, BC V4N 4C5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Driving Licence (required)
