The Retail Sales Rep (RSR) is responsible for developing Milwaukee as the brand of choice at the dealer within the Hardware, Automotive, Rental channels.


You will be responsible for all aspects of your territory's operational activities including New Dealer Placements, Circle Back programs, Hand Tool & Accessory Conversions, merchandising, and product knowledge sessions.

The ability to identify dealer opportunities, gain placement and eliminate competitive brands is vital to your success in this role.

What You Will Do


The Retail Sales Rep will present channel specific programs to independent & corporately owned banner dealers within the assigned territory.

The goal of securing show room real-estate and driving warehouse replenishment are focus priorities.

In this position you will:

  • Work with the Field Sales Manager to identify opportunities and achieve annual sales goals through channel programming.
  • Convert competitive branded products at dealers within your territory.
  • Support POS driving activity as required.
  • Foster relationships with Business Development managers to identify corporate store merchandising and conversions opportunities. Promote warehouse replenishment.
  • Work at Hardware & Automotive Buying Shows to build relationships with prospective dealers.
  • Support dealers with product knowledge sessions and assist where required with FMR events.
  • Manage annual T & E Budget.
  • Engage positively with local Territory Managers & Channel specific NAM/SAMs.
  • Report and comment on competitive market trends noticeable in the field.
  • Develop best in class conversion summaries with before & after photos.


What You Will Bring- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.- Minimum of 1-year experience in Sales or related field. Must possess effective business communication skills and broad business perspective.- Proven ability to translate business goals in to executed action plans.- Must have valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.- Ability to travel 90% of time outside of home office area.
