Position: Senior Full Stack Developer/Node

Location: Mississauga, ON

Description: Seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should excel in building scalable web applications using React, NodeJS, and MongoDB. This role offers a mix of hands-on coding and code review responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications with React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
  • Allocate 50% of the time to coding and the other 50% to code reviews.
  • Ensure PRs meet coding standards and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Lead code quality maintenance efforts and collaborate with the team on solutions.
  • Stay updated on technologies and suggest beneficial adoptions.
  • Possibly assist in integrating distributed cache systems like Redis.
  • Mentor junior developers and encourage continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Expertise in React, NodeJS, and MongoDB.
  • Experience in code review processes and web app architecture.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, preferably Redis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to high-quality code and effective communication.
