Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Night Auditor is responsible for verifying commercial transactions conducted during the day to balance accounts and deposits and close cash registers, while ensuring reception duties during the night.

They take on the role of receptionist by welcoming guests so that they can enjoy the best hotel experience.

Job description:

  • Classify commercial transactions conducted during the day,
  • Verify and correct the recording of transactions and update hotel guest notes,
  • Balance accounts and close cash registers for different points of sale,
  • Produce the daily revenue report,
  • Answer the phone and route incoming calls,
  • Handle reservations,
  • Handle checkins and checkouts,
  • Manage group reservations and arrivals,
  • Collaborate with the security department,
  • Handle customer complaints,
  • Other administrative and/or accounting tasks.

Salary:
The proposed salary is $22.16 per hour. In addition, you will receive benefits and preferential rates at all hotels owned by the Tidan Group.

Education:

  • College diploma (DEC)
  • Asset

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the hotel industry,
  • Resourceful and dynamic,
  • Excellent analytical skills,
  • Display professionalism at all times,
  • Ability to work in a team,
  • Quick and sound judgment.

Years of Experience Required:

  • 1 year of experience in the hotel industry.

Languages:

Bilingualism
(French and English), both orally and in writing, is required for this position, as we serve an international clientele.
