The successful applicant will have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and educational background:

  • Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
  • Bachelor of Education should have a high school focus
  • A Reflective Practitioner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset.
  • Accreditation would be considered an asset.

This teaching assignment is exclusively Financial Literacy and includes FinLit 10/20/30.

Interviews will be conducted upon application. Please note that GSSD may contact informal references not listed in your application package.


Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
