Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods to various destinations
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other appropriate equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or other similar machinery
  • Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
