  • Description of the Position:
  • The Associate, Leadership Giving, will provide support on various programs within the Leadership Giving team. They will be responsible for reporting and analysis, database management, marketing, vendor management and gift processing.


The Associate will be an active participant in a fast-paced team, joining at an exciting time of growth for the Leadership Giving team during the infancy stage of SickKids Foundation's next comprehensive campaign.

This position reports to the Associate Director, Leadership Giving.

  • You will:
  • Provide daytoday service and support to the team supporting the effective execution and delivery of Leadership Giving initiatives;
  • Develop reports, dashboards and provide in depth analysis for the $6 million + Leadership giving program including complex database and excel queries;
  • Create weekly, monthly and adhoc reports and templates;
  • Process Leadership Giving gifts, including their tracking and coding within the Foundation's database;
  • Track pledges, donor migration and detailed revenue tracking by segment for the Quarterly Business Review (QBR);
  • Develop donor insights by identifying new prospective donors;
  • Assist with cultivation, stewardship and solicitation of all donors within the Leadership Giving portfolio;
  • Assist fundraisers by compiling information needed to follow up on donor inquiries;
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of results for the Leadership Giving program and assist with post campaign reporting;
  • Maintain the donor database (referred to as KYDs
  • Blackbaud CRM) to ensure data integrity and produce regular standardized reports and database extractions;
  • Assist in the development of written proposals for Leadership Giving prospects;
  • Support the development and execution of marketingrelated activities for Leadership Giving stewardship and solicitations such as marketing briefs, project coordination and data preparation in collaboration with the Business Intelligence & Information Technology (BIIT) team;
  • Set up new pledges and track existing pledges, reminder letters and remittance forms;
  • Coordinate meetings and logistics for the Leadership Giving team;
  • Represent team on cross functional projects such as donor events, Annual Report, Endowment Reporting, etc;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams both within and outside the Marketing department;
  • Execute expense tracking, reporting, and accruals for the Leadership Giving team;
  • Additional administrative and project duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Certificate or degree in marketing, fundraising, or a related field;
  • Ability to work independently in driving new initiatives and advancing existing opportunities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Advance Excel skills;
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience within an analytical or financial role;
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners;
  • Ability to build new and longterm relationships with prospects, donors or clients;
  • Experience working with and guiding agency/vendor partners;
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g. Blackbaud, Salesforce, etc.);
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fastpaced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities as assigned.
