The University of Manitoba is looking for a Student Recruitment Officer.

This position will represent the University of Manitoba at all off-campus and on-campus student recruitment functions, including, but not limited to, presentations given at senior and junior high schools, at evening parent functions, at community events, at career fairs and symposiums, at education promotional events, and on-campus events and tours.

Minimum of a bachelor's degree required, preferably related to communications, marketing, education, or a related field.
A recent University of Manitoba graduate preferred.
Experience working with students in the post-secondary or high-school system preferred.
Experience as a student or staff member of the University of Manitoba preferred.
Previous experience in student recruitment positions preferred.
Intermediate skills in the current versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Ability to relate to high school students in an effective manner is required.
A good understanding of the University of Manitoba degree programs, entrance requirements and selection procedures preferred.

Must be physically capable of performing duties as assigned, including driving, and standing for lengthy periods and lifting display units and boxes weighing up to 15 kg.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record as well as access to a vehicle is required.
Must hold a valid passport and must maintain required immunizations to enable entry into certain countries/markets required.
Previous experience in student recruitment positions preferred.
