GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:


Reporting directly to the Electronics Engineer - Supervisor, the role of General Support Operator - Material Handling/Staging will provide general support related functions based on assignment in Electronics and may be assigned within any production department.


Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Electronics and/or miscellaneous assembly or related staging of the assembly process
  • Material handling
  • Organizing product
  • General housekeeping
  • All other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor or Production Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Working experience in manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing training and experience an asset

Licenses & Certifications:
Preferred

  • Forklift Certification
