Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):

  • 1. To provide instruction and to facilitate interactive practical experiences for students in the Early. Childhood Education diploma program through a blended model offered internationally in Ganzhou.
  • To coordinate the delivery of the international offering of the Early Childhood Education Diploma program in Ganzhou.
  • Travel to Ganzhou as required to deliver instruction and for quality assurance purposes.
  • Work atypical hours instructing remotely in support of international time change.
  • Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience.
  • Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform (Bright Space).
  • Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
  • Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment.
  • Maintain and up-date curriculum materials.
  • Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.
  • Develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers
  • Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  • Attend program and school meetings.

Ability to obtain a Visa and travel internationally is required for this position.
