About the team and role

The Money Movement team's objective is to expand Robinhood's businesses by simplifying the process of funding and transferring money in and out of Robinhood safely and efficiently.

As a software developer on the team, you will have a significant role in redefining how our users handle and transfer their money. You will contribute to creating seamless, secure, and immediate payment experiences and collaborate with various teams at Robinhood to help them achieve ambitious objectives like international expansion.

What you will be responsible for

  • Lead and execute user-facing payment features from concept and design to implementation and launch
  • Enhance Robinhood's payment platform to meet funding requirements for different teams within the organization
  • Work closely with design, product, and data specialists to quickly iterate and deliver financial products
  • Enhance system performance, team efficiency, and minimize risks...

Your qualifications

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Proven track record of collaborating successfully with product managers, frontend developers, and data scientists to introduce a/b tests and implement new product features
  • Strong programming skills with expertise in languages like Python, Go, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining high code and technical design standards through review processes
  • Proficiency in GRPC, SQL, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies
  • Extra points for background in a fintech company or the payments sector
