Commercial Flat Roofing Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Flat Roofing Journeyman to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain flat roofs according to industry standards and company guidelines
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
  • Determine appropriate materials and tools required for each job
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborate with the team to complete projects within established timelines
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Adhere to building codes, regulations, and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and address any questions or concerns

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Flat Roofing Journeyman
  • Strong knowledge of various flat roofing systems, including builtup roofs, singleply membranes, and modified bitumen
  • Proficiency in roof installation techniques, repairs, and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Experience with roofing tools and equipment
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Safetyconscious mindset
