Our salon is looking for an experienced professional DOG GROOMING SALON MANAGER/LEAD that is passionate about pups to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our business in Downtown Georgetown.


As our Dog Grooming Salon Manager, you will:

  • Onboard all new salon groomers, ensuring their completion of all training requirements, evaluating the quality of grooms, and providing ongoing learning opportunities
  • Recommend services and build a relationship with the pawrents
  • Maintaining a professional dramafree environment where everyone works as a team
  • Perform grooming to breed standards and to client's personal preferences and hold your groomers to those same standards in order to maintain the high quality care and work we are best known for.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every pet and employee in the salon, taking immediate and appropriate action whenever necessary

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be reliable, dedicated, hard working, respectful, energetic and cheerful
  • MUST LOVE DOGS of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, and be comfortable lifting large dogs
  • Must be able to complete a task within a certain deadline in a fast paced environment
  • Must act professionally and not be afraid of getting dirty or wet
  • Must be able to remain calm while grooming challenging dogs
  • Quality over quantity mentality is a MUST
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with clients in a professional manner, and understand their unique needs, educate them and make appropriate recommendations
  • Can perform pet and breed styles on dogs of all breeds
  • Ensures high quality care and treatment of the dogs while they are in our salon

Requirements:

  • Bring your own grooming tools (we will supply shampoo, tables, etc.)
  • Maintain sanitary workstation throughout the day
  • Be able to work as a team or individually (selfmotivated).
  • The option to have a bather or bathe your own dogs

Working Hours

  • This position is part time or full time, based on your availability
  • Competitive hourly wage and bonuses based on experience
  • Paid lunch break

Previous Experience

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Certification is preferred, but not required with 23 years of grooming experience
  • Pictures of previous grooms/gallery and references will be requested
  • Working interview is required
