Bobbette & Belle Artisanal Pastries is a female owned and operated, award winning pastry shop. Our business and it's success exists because of the amazing staff we have had over the years.

We are looking for outstanding pastry cooks who have great attention to detail, and believe in upholding the quality and aesthetic standards that we are known for.

We are excited that we have an amazing team, who are fantastic at what they do, but also genuinely enjoy working together.

We are currently looking to add 1 morning pastry chef to this team, to cover production of cupcakes and our swiss buttercream production.

This is a key positions, as it feature production of our core retail products and seasonal items. Please note that this position does not include production of decorative products like wedding cakes and decorative sugar cookies. The regular start time is 5am at our 1121 Queen Street East location.


Please note applicants must be open to working at our 1121 Queen St E bakery, and be available for 5am to 2:00pm shifts daily (including weekends).


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Production of cupcakes
  • Production in large scale of of Swiss meringue buttercream
  • Scaling of large size recipes
  • Cleaning and tidying of baking workspace
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Works well independently
  • MUST be available for 5am start times

Experience:

  • Baking/
Pastry Cook: 1 year (preferred)

  • Experience with cupcakes and cake decoration

Work Location:
In person

  • Proven baking and cake decorating experience.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Detailoriented.
  • Artistic and creative.
  • Basic numeracy skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping and kneeling
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50lbs
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders and ramps
  • Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrists and spine
  • Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work
  • Constant receiving detailed information through verbal communication
