Job Summary
As a

Laboratory Assistant in Sample Management for our sample management department at the

Ville Saint-Laurent site, you will perform some sample management activities and follow directives from the study plans,
phase plans and the SOP.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform reception, verification and storage of sample using the Watson LIMS
- system.

  • Prepares samples for analysis in the laboratories.
  • Perform the verification of samples during shipment preparation to other locations.
  • Prepare kits for clinical studies based on the laboratory manual.
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules.
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • High school diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change

Role Specific Information:

  • Location : Ville Saint-Laurent
  • Salary: $18.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Permanent and fulltime job

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.

From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.

Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
