Job Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of C5i's Advanced Analytics and Applied AI team, responsible for:

  • Work with the Analytics team and Client stakeholders to define key questions, translate business problem into an analytical problem and prioritize project work streams and initiatives.
  • Clearly understand the business requirements, objectives, and market before developing and implementing data science and technical analysis strategies, tools, and solutions
  • Apply domain expertise in technology to develop datadriven solutions that address complexchallenges in the industry.
  • Develop, test, and deliver data science solutions to enhance supply chain operations via descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics (through proof of concepts and enterprise grade solutions)
  • Experience with largescale algorithms extracting and analyzing data from multiple and complex data sets and ability to convert complex analysis into easytounderstand insights and action plans.
  • Build data science and analytics work streams working closely with internal teams together with colleagues within the department (Data Engineers, Analysts, etc.) and other client teams.
  • Present datadriven insights from multiple data sources (structured or unstructured) and help test and implement data science and analytics solutions.
  • Researching and applying multidisciplinary techniques and tools, findings, algorithms, and optimization approaches to solutions driving the business understanding of its market and data
  • Building, validating, and prioritizing data science solution pipeline to improve demand plans, service levels, reduce inventory, optimize routing, and other supply chain KPIs.
  • Collaborating with Data, Digital and IT teams, and other Client groups to access required data sources, preprocess available data, build, train, test, and validate models, and scale across business units.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identifybusiness problems and opportunities wheredata science can providevaluable insights and solutions.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development, demonstrating proficiency in creating efficient and welldocumented code.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies to provide innovative insights and solutions.
  • Conduct openended data mining and analysis for medium to large datasets from disparate sources.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, IT, or other technical discipline
  • A graduate degree (Masters/PhD in a technical considered a plus
  • Candidates with minimum 49 years' experience as a data scientist with a strong focus on supply chain
  • Advanced knowledge on supply chain operations, experience in consumer electronics industry a big plus
  • Ability to understand ETL processes, and extract data from large and complex data sets and convert them into easytounderstand insights and action plans.
  • Strong statistical skills and proficient database & programming skills to quickly prototype experimental solutions and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable production systems.
  • Project management and time management skills. PMP certification considered a plus.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and strong interpersonal skills, with capacity to interact with all levels in the organization (including regular exposure to leadership)
  • Expert knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning methods and market leading data analysis tools and platforms
  • Proficiency with tools used to analyse data and develop algorithms and statistical analytics solutions such as SQL, Python, R, Java, or SAS
  • Expertise in Python programming, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikitlearn, and others commonly used in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Intermediatelevel experience with MLOps practices and on prem platforms for model deployment.
  • Showcase a strong portfolio of successfully deployed machine learning projects that highlight expertise in predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, and more.
  • Handson experience in deep learningtechniques related to computer vision and/or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Exhibit knowledge of MLOps practices, enabling smooth integration of machine learningmodels into production systemsand maintaining their lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate level of proficiency in onprem platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure efficient and scalable deployment of machine learningsolutions.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik or Tableau
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capability to tackle complicated issues.
  • Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Experience working at a global enterprise is a plus.
