The Personal Lines Sales team is looking for an energetic and passionate
Insurance
Client Executive / Insurance Broker who will leverage their industry knowledge and experience and offer customized personal insurance coverage that will protect, comfort and recover, providing peace of mind to new and existing clients.


What You'll Do

  • Providing expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects about their personal insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures
  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets as well as department goals
  • Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwriters
  • Resolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanor by leveraging product and service knowledge
  • Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals
  • Representing the brokerage at industry functions when required
  • Keeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training initiatives

What You Bring
-
RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing required; Other provincial license an asset:

  • Typically, more than 2 years of industry and/or personal lines experience
  • Extensive experience with Major Domestic Personal Lines Markets (Intact, Aviva, Economical, etc.)
  • Passion for sales with exceptional quoting skills; committed to delivering a topnotch client experience
  • Possess and display a professional presentation and demeanor as well as a solid understanding of the personal insurance business in a salesfocused environment
  • Proven experience working in a high volume and/or fastpaced environment
  • Previous experience in a Contact Centre environment is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills expected including fluency in Broker management systems
  • EPIC & ARS fluency are an asset
  • Ability to quickly learn the NFP business model and value proposition
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, both in person and virtually
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • The ability to communicate clearly and explain complex concepts in both official languages (French and English) is an asset
  • Professional insurance designation is a plus (such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.)
