Job Summary: Animal Care Clerk – No Experience Needed

As an Animal Care Clerk for our Toxicology team at the Senneville (QC) site, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our laboratory animals, thus maintaining the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning the animal rooms
  • Cleaning the animal cages
  • Handling animals skillfully

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enjoy physical work, including lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to follow precise instructions
  • Passion for working with animals

Upon hiring, you will be required to undergo an annual tuberculosis test paid for by the company.

Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 22022 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville (QC) H9X 1C1
  • Salary: $18/hour
  • Premiums:
  • Evenings: $2.50
  • Weekend: $2.75
  • Overtime: Time and a half
  • Holidays: Double time
  • Schedule: Saturday & Sunday + 3 weekdays
  • Temporary position for the summer, 37.5 hours per week
  • Transportation: Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne de Bellevue train station and John Abbott College, as well as free parking for car commuters
