Please note:
The duration of the contract is from July 2, 2024, to November 1, 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing cheques including getting them signed, matched, and distributed
  • Process high volume A/P invoices in accordance with supplier's payment terms and Firm policy
  • Monthly preparation of account and bank reconciliations
  • Responsible for legal membership tracking, administration and payments
  • Responsible for ordering bank drafts and getting cheques certified
  • Vendor maintenance including new vendor setup
  • Handle vendor and internal client requests in a timely manner
  • Assist with annual audit and accounting related projects
  • Filing of cheques, supporting documents, bank statements and other office administration tasks
  • Additional duties as required within the scope of the role

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:

  • Degree in Accounting or Business Administration courses and/or experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and organize work to meet strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail, well organized, ability to complete a high volume of work efficiently and accurately
  • Basic accounting and analytical skills
