Reporting to the Supervisor of Community Engagement, and working closely with the Education team, Peel Art Gallery, Museum & Archives (PAMA), the Educator prepares and delivers a wide range of art and museum based programs and activities to children, youth, adults and seniors that participation in PAMA's school and public programs.


What the role requires:

  • Completion of a postsecondary program in art education, museum studies, history, visual and/or media arts related discipline. Combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in developing lesson and activity plans and a demonstrated interest in working with participants of all ages and backgrounds
  • Demonstration of solid knowledge of and a keen interest in contemporary visual art and community engagement
  • Familiarity with a broad range of art techniques, practices, materials and Canadian History

  • Strong organizational, planning, time management, and leadership skills

In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at our
