Education:
- Graduated with a degree from a recognized university or provide details on how you have an acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience:
- Experience in managing projects, people and/or finances;
- Experience in the fields of education, tourism, resource conservation, asset management and/or communications;
- Experience in working with and/or participating in boards, working groups, or other types of diverse multiparty decision making groups;
- Experience living in or extensively working with one or more remote and/or Indigenous communities? Provide detail on where and for how long.

Knowledge:
- General knowledge of cooperative management principles and practices of protected areas;
- General knowledge of Western Arctic Field Unit's parks and sites surrounding the communities located in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.
Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a manner appropriate to an identified target audience;
- Ability to build relationships and represent the organization in a variety of forums;
- Ability to respond appropriately to interorganizational and/or interpersonal conflict;
- Ability to manage various types of projects relevant to remote northern communities and cooperatively managed protected areas.

- Willingness to travel frequently and work in both office and field environments under a variety of Arctic conditions;
