Dew Software Supplier Industrial Engineer Position

Dew Software is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Industrial Engineer to join our team. As a leading software solutions company, we work with Fortune 500 clients to optimize their supply chain operations. The Supplier Industrial Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supplier relationships and processes. Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate supplier capabilities, capacity, and performance to ensure alignment with business requirements
  2. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supplier network
  3. Work with suppliers to develop and implement process improvements and quality control measures
  4. Conduct audits and assessments of supplier facilities and processes
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues and implement corrective actions
  6. Monitor and report on supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers as needed
  8. Maintain supplier documentation, records, and contracts
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supplier management and industrial engineering
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management or industrial engineering
  • Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation, process improvement, and quality control
  • Experience performing audits and assessments of supplier facilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers
  • Proficiency in supplier management software and tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally
