The Beedie Graduate Programs team is a close-knit high-performing team that manages the graduate programs for the Beedie School of Business.

This includes the recruitment, admissions, program operations, and student services for nine programs, currently encompassing 750+ students (MBA GDBA, MSc Finance).

As a collaborative and supportive team, we work hard in an exciting and fast-changing industry, with a common passion for supporting the learning journey for students and creating the best experience possible to support their education.


About the Role


This position is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing holistic programs and initiatives to engage, develop, recruit, and retain graduate students in the Beedie School of Business.

This position leads the Graduate Student Engagement Office (SEO), providing co-curricular opportunities that compliment graduate business curriculum and support grad student personal and professional development.

What happens outside of the classroom is an integral part of the Beedie experience; students are encouraged to get involved with opportunities that meet their interests and goals, ranging from leadership through clubs and committees, team building through MBA Games and cross-program simulations, consulting practice through case competitions, upskilling through workshops, and networking through events and socials.

By creating memorable opportunities that students utilize beyond graduation, the SEO builds connections student-to-student, student-to-school, and student-to-networks, which in turn is reflected in brand loyalty, recruitment efforts, alumni engagement, and giving back to the community.
