We are seeking a Senior Data Developer with a robust data engineering background and experience in Databricks and PowerBI platforms to enhance our data capabilities.

This role is pivotal in analyzing, designing, and implementing data solutions that support strategic decisions in our company.

Participate in the conception, development, deployment and optimization of data pipelines, Data Lake, Datawarehouse for varied BI use cases (reporting, dashboards, predictive and prescriptive analysis, machine learning, automated processing).

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Architects.

Contribute to brainstorming discussions and solution definition related to information architecture and design, data collection, data analysis methodology, data integration.

Prototype modern technologies and new reports for business units.
Perform problem-solving and testing of hypotheses and complex analysis of data.
Perform data modelling for proper analysis and insight.
Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests and performance tests.
Provide support and guidance to colleagues, mentor junior colleagues.
Analyze, identify, diagnose, document, and assist to resolve BI and Data platform issues.
Deploy and merge solutions using Azure DevOps.

Keeps informed about the latest technologies and data and analytics trends.

~ Agile methodology
~ Knowledge of Azure Big Data environment
~5+ years hands-on data engineering experience:
~ Coding:
SQL, T-SQL, noSQL, Python, C#, R, Scala,
~ Familiar with relational and non-relational databases,
~ ELT/

ETL:
ingestion of disparate systems (through rest API, sftp, SQL databases, etc.) in Data Lake / Data Warehouse,
~ Agile methodology
~ Knowledge of Azure Big Data environment
~

  • ADLS Gen 2, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps.
~

  • Knowledge in one of the following topics is an asset:
~ Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically BI Publisher.
~ Sharepoint Business Data Connectivity (BDC), to create and maintain lists.
~ Automated testing
~ DP203 Microsoft Certification
~ ADLS Gen 2, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps.
