Rig and animate already modeled creatures based on art direction and narrative.

  • Partner with the Art Director to deliver the artistic vision for the game and iterate on the look and flow of creature movements and behaviors.
  • Optimize art assets and prepare them for game integration.
  • Collaborate with the technical artists and engineers to develop effective assets that work in the production pipeline.

Core Requirements:

  • Experience with 3D rigging and animation.
  • Professional experience in game art creation, having contributed to at least one shipped title.
  • A passion for working on novel creatures and characters, and a keen eye for natural movement and behavior through animation.
  • An ability to collaborate with the team and contribute to exploration of creative techniques and production methods.
  • Good sense of asset organization and adherence to naming conventions

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience with Unity3D.
  • Knowledge / understanding of AR and VR.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, texturing (eg, Maya, 3DSMax, ZBrush, Blender, or equivalent).
  • Basic knowledge of version control (eg, Git, Perforce).
