Seasonal Skate Patrols:


The City of Mission's Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is seeking two new seasonal skate patrols to work from now until March 2024.

A typical seasonal skate patrol employee works yearly from September to March.


As a skate patrol, you will be responsible for supervision of public activities to ensure safety practices are followed during public skating times at the municipal arena.

You will assist skaters when needed, treat minor injuries and perform limited janitorial duties.

You must be a minimum of 16 years of age and have completed Grade 10. Standard First Aid Level 1 certification or a recognized equivalent is required.

The current hourly rate for this seasonal CUPE position is $27.28 plus 12.4% in lieu of benefits. There will be one to two shifts per week which will include evenings and weekends.
