Job Summary

We are seeking a caring casual RPN/ RN to become part of our expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, a warm personality, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to offer medical assistance to our clients in their residences.

Responsibilities

  • Visit individuals at their homes for personalized sessions
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to recognize the physical, psychological, and environmental requirements of home health patients
  • Evaluate patients' conditions, record observations, and carry out assessment duties such as checking vital signs and reviewing medications
  • Administer prescribed medications as per the physician's instructions
  • Educate patients and their families on proper home health care techniques and protocols, as well as suggest devices or resources that could enhance the patient's quality of life
  • Deliver clear and effective communication to patients/clients, their relatives, team members, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's Nursing School, or vocational nursing
  • Valid license with College of Nurses Ontario and in Good Standing as an RN or RPN
  • Mandatory Professional Liability Insurance
  • Evidence of current CPR certification
  • Kind-hearted, approachable demeanor
  • Outstanding communication proficiencies
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Capability to work a flexible schedule and commute locally
