We have an opportunity for a
Manufacturing Specialist to join our team, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing team.


Key Job Duties:

Assembly

  • Preparation of material and manufacturing of various assemblies
  • Assembly of sensor pads, including but not limited to cutting, laminating, wiring and soldering
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve assembly related issues

LEAN Manufacturing

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Maintain and assist in the establishment of Kanbans
  • Contribute to a LEAN culture, through participation continuous improvement initiatives

Quality

  • Inspection of incoming materials to work cells
  • Inprocess inspection in accordance with work instructions/quality control plans
  • Work with other team members to resolve material related issues
  • Track and record defect data
  • Aid in implementing corrective action and root cause analysis

Work Experience and Skills

  • 15 years in a LEAN manufacturing environment
  • Experience with basic hand tools, adhesives, têxtiles, laminating, printing, wiring, crimping, soldering pneumatic equipment, laser cutters and lamination machines are all considered assets
  • Computer and Microsoft software (Excel etc.) knowledge

Education

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written

  • Organized with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with mínimal supervision
  • Leads by example
