Full-Stack Developer Specializing in UI/UX Development and Design

Our client, a prominent technology company in the Oil and Gas Services sector, is in need of a full-stack developer focused on front-end, UI/UX, and web development skills.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Front-End Development expertise utilizing essential tools like HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ASP .net, bootstrap, SQL Server, and optionally Zoho Creator. Proficiency in Zoho Creator for app development (a low-code app creation tool) is desired, along with familiarity in Deluge scripting language utilized in Zoho. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Zoho would be advantageous.

One significant upcoming project involves revamping inefficient applications, hence we seek an individual versed in user-centric software development and UX principles.

Essential Skills:

  • Front-End development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Bootstrap
  • ASP .net
  • Software Development with sound understanding of the SDLC
  • SQL Server and solid SQL skills

Desired Skills:

  • Zoho Creator experience in web development
  • Deluge scripting language proficiency in Zoho
  • Full-Stack development utilizing Microsoft tools (C# .net, etc.)
  • Prior experience and inclination towards leading technical teams

Zoho Creator – Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The candidate must be familiar with SQL Server as data flows from SQL Server to Zoho, subsequently populating SQL tables.

Overview of Future Responsibilities:

The individual will focus on enhancing large Zoho apps, currently lacking efficiency. These applications are critical for internal use and demand a software-building approach centered on user experience.

The candidate will serve as a technical mentor to the junior members of the Zoho team, with potential growth opportunities into a formal Team Lead role.

While onsite work is preferred, consideration will be given to candidates open to a hybrid work model. Offices located in SE Calgary.

The position may be offered on a contractual basis.
