Role: Business Analyst Consultant, Axiom

Location:

Qualifications:

Our main focus for this project are the following:
Preferred Qualifications

MBA, MS in finance, CFA, or relevant Post-Graduate/University degree University from reputed institution
3 or more years of proven consulting experience gathering and analyzing business requirements, and drafting functional designs to deliver large-scale enterprise software implementation(s) in Capital Markets, Risk Management
Excellent understanding of Capital Market/Risk Management business process
Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating and presenting solutions
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and manage multiple task assignments
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
Ability to develop client relationships and comfortably interact with senior level clients
Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
Strong project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Axiom knowledge along with the usual BA and Regulatory Skillset

Who we are looking for?

Motivated self-starter who has natural curiosity. Collaborative Problem Solver.
IT Business Analyst background, 5-7 years with experience around Finance systems, Regulatory reporting a Plus
Experience with Finance Reporting projects with multi-platform, big data.
Technical skills required, ability to write intermediate to advanced queries using SQL, Python to assist team in retrieving data for relevant analysis
Background/Exposure to Capital Markets and Finance.
Techno-functional skills in business requirements and data analysis
Medium to large project experience interacting with client teams, consultants, and vendors
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

Role and Responsibilities


You will play an important role with responsibilities that range from analyzing a client's issues/objectives and interviewing key client stakeholders to developing recommendations and authoring presentations.

You will participate and lead teams in both strategic advisory and transformation projects.

Responsibilities include:

Work directly with our clients providing consulting services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology issues
Deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations
Draw conclusions from the market /industry trends, client issues and support go to market initiatives for Cognizant
Contribute to research, design and writing of articles/whitepapers and participate as a team member in collateral developm
