As part of your job here you will be performing the following duties:

  • Answering and making phone calls to our clients and scheduling appointments
  • Processing transactions with both purchases and returns plus handling cash
  • Working directly with all kinds of animals (including but not limited to: dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, avians, reptiles, etc.)
  • Organizing, Scanning and Attaching files and other information within our database
  • Dealing with emergent situations and effectively managing our appointment schedule and the flow of clients and patients within the building

We are looking for someone with the following skills and traits:

  • Strong abilities in Multi-tasking, Organization, and Communication
  • Superb Typing skills and Notetaking abilities
  • Experience and effectiveness when working in a Teambased environment
  • A Positive, Kind, Friendly and Helpful attitude with clients, both in person and over the phone
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills and Experience (mandatory)
  • Experience using Avimark software (mandatory)
  • Extensive Animal Knowledge and Experience (mandatory)
  • A Flexible schedule and freedom to work any day of the week

  • Weekends as needed
  • Weekends only
