Salary:

  • UNDER REVIEW: _Classification 9, $ per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement.
Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.50/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

The period between Christmas and New Year's Day is unpaid time.

**The contract will be in place until March 31, 2024 (to be possibly extended).

Description:


Under the direction of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Project Manager, the EDI Project Support Clerk will provide front line client services, along with clerical and administrative support for 50/30 Challenge Project team and its participants.


This role will serve as the point of initial contact for clients/participants, responding to requests for the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion team (Advisors and Manager), while managing the agendas, logistics and coordination of the communications being distributed by the team for the project.


They will develop and track multiple deadlines (for both internal and external contacts and service providers); arrange flight plans and accommodations for the team's travel and will prepare financial documents as needed for review and processing.


Qualifications:

Do you have strong attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy? Perfect. You will need this skill in your new role with us as a member of this dynamic team.

You'll also need to be able to demonstrate clear and effective communication, actively listen, and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships.

These are critical attributes of this position.


We'd prefer if you had a certificate in a related discipline and two years' experience; however, we would consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A current and valid driver's license is required of this role, as travel may be necessary throughout the region.


You must have an intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and successfully complete a clerical test to validate this statement.
