About The Role


HUB International is currently looking for Account Assistants to support the Personal Lines Team in our London, ON office, with the intention to develop into an Account Manager role.


The Account Assistant will work independently, use MS Office skills, insurance systems and provide administrative support for assigned teams or projects.

Responsibilities will vary dependent on business needs and will require flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and assist.

What You'll Do

Provides administrative assistance to assigned Account teams

Processes renewal and endorsed policies in our broker management system

Distributes incoming correspondence to the appropriate branches or individuals

Maintains and update client information accurately

Maintains daily and download transactions from insurers

Works with various insurance company databases

Reception support if required

Receives and takes appropriate action with incoming documents

Reviews account renewals and conducts follow-up activities, as assigned.

Prepares letters and other documents related to client accounts, etc.

Other duties as assigned

Attain RIBO within 6 months to progress to Account Manager (Service)

What You'll Need for Success

Proficient in MS Office Suite:
Word, Excel, and Outlook

Prior office support or administration experience an asset

Strong attention to detail, effective time management and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required

Ability to work independently and in teams

Knowledge or experience in insurance an asset
