Unity Power Solutions Ltd. Is looking for electrical journeypersons to join our team

Located in Victoria, BC we are a growing electrical business that prioritizes professionalism and customer service.

Our goal is to continue to build a strong clientele base while creating a positive environment where our employees can further their knowledge and gain experience within the electrical industry.


As Journeyperson with Unity Power Solutions, a typical day will include working on projects while surrounded by ocean, mountains, and forest all within a positive team and safety-focused work environment.

You will work with clients who truly appreciate our hard work and dedication.

As Journeyperson, you will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside your apprentice, providing training and guidance when required
  • Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures
  • Using hand tools and electrical testing equipment correctly
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components
  • Troubleshooting electrical systems and components
  • Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
Qualifications and Skills

  • Residential and commercial electrical experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong customer services skills with the ability to communicate professionally
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to producing highquality work with mínimal errors
  • Able to act as a role model for apprentices to foster their growth and development
  • Reliable and dependable, punctual and ready to work
Tickets and Other Requirements

  • Must be a certified journeyperson
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Salary:
$32.00-$38.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- electrical: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Electrical Journeyperson Certificate (required)
